Comic Con has come, gone and everyone who attended has returned to their normal geeky lives. On Sunday, we posted a geek girl trivia quiz for y’all to play, prizes being some of our coveted Comic Con schwag. Surprisingly, only three people got all ten of these questions correct. The winners are: Megan Drury, Lisa Williford and Mike Smith! Congrats guys, your schwag will be in the mail sometime this week!
In the interest of educating the rest of you slackers, I’m going to post the answers to our geek quiz…
- Name five of the 11 actors who have played the Doctor on Doctor Who: William Hartnell, Patrick Troughten, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccelston, David Tennant, Matt Smith.
- Name three of the Secret Six: Catman, Deadshot, Scandal, Ragdoll, Bane and Jeanette
- What are the Lantern Corps colors? Red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, violet, black, white
- What does TARDIS stand for? “Time and Relative Dimensions in Space”
- What are the names of Tatooine’s two moons? There are three moons, trick question! (Chenini, Ghomrassen and Guermessa.)
- Who played the female Yoda? Phil Eason and the character’s name was “Yaddle”
- Who were the original creators of Dungeons and Dragons? Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson (thankfully none of you got this question wrong, I’d have had to track you down and geek slap you if you had!)
- What are the names of the five Sailor Scouts? Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.
- Who was the instigator of the original Secret Wars? The Beyonder
- Who wrote/performed the theme song for Daria? Splendora
