- Bacon bracelets? Our pal Tally has a craft up on her blog (I Could Make That), the end result of which is a felted bacon wristband. OMG geeky yummeh delishis cool accessories!
- Five Signs of a Weak Social Media Strategy… for those who claim that social media is “one of the most bullshit professions out there” (*coughJamieVaronSFWeeklycough*)… check this article out. This is interesting punctuation to my original point that social media and online marketing are crucial (and mostly free) tools that are of great value in growing one’s business and/or brand.
- Hank Green is my new nerd boy crush. Yay. One of the driving forces behind VidCon and EcoGeek, Hank is absolutely worthy of my geeky-girl adoration… not to mention he rocks the ultimate “MySpace” photo on his site… and Nerdfighters… let’s not forget that one… awesome. /swoon

Oh, did I tell you I got to chat a little bit with Hank Green this weekend? Nice guy. But I’m probably upsetting you now. If you ever get the chance, though, I bet he’d be a great guy to interview.
Ok, now I’m SERIOUSLY jealous… What a charmed geek-weekend that musta been, Tally… I bet he’s a super nice guy, Hank — I mean he looks all nerdcore, like he could cut you with his wit and stuff, but I bet he’s a super awesome guy to be buddies with IRL. And, he’s cute and has dorky glasses….
Yup, I added him to my list of interview subjects I’m reaching out to for GotW.
